Approximately 250 people took advantage of the chance to admire nine Whiteville-area gardens Saturday during a tour organized by Whiteville Garden Club. In many of the gardens, guests had an opportunity to hear musicians performing and see artists at work. Garden Tour Committee Chair Brenda Jolly said Saturday offered “perfect weather” and the club “couldn’t have asked for a better day” in June.
