Assistant manager charged with stealing $8.5K from Dollar General

A man is facing a felony larceny by employee charge after he allegedly stole from his Tabor City Dollar General store.

According to Tabor City Police, on March 30 Harry Jamal Stewart took $8,533.27 in cash from the Dollar General store where he was assistant manager. 

Police arrested Stewart the same day
