Customers in Columbus County Water District IV are no longer under a boil water advisory, County Attorney Amanda Prince announced Wednesday afternoon.

On Tuesday morning, the county said customers in that area were experiencing periods of low pressure and outages due to equipment failure within the water system.

The county advised customers in District IV to boil all water for human consumption, including drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation.
