The Cerro Gordo Yellow Jackets ended their 1954 season with a 27-5 win over Acme-Delco on May 17. Cerro Gordo scored 19 runs in the sixth inning to pull away from the invading Trojans squad. The 19 runs in one inning was a league record at that time.
