Christmas lights, Recreation Center restrooms and art classes with wine could be in upcoming Whiteville budget

At Whiteville City Council’s budget meeting Tuesday April 13, heads of the Whiteville Downtown Development Commission and Whiteville Parks and Recreation suggested items for the next fiscal year. These included new Christmas lights downtown, a center for concessions and bathrooms at the Recreation Center fields and weekday events and classes
