Four member of the Columbus County Board of Commissioners, including three newcomers, took the oath of office during a rainy ceremony Monday evening on the steps of the historic Columbus County Courthouse. Republicans Chris Smith (District 2), Lavern Coleman (District 4) and Brent Watts (District 5) were sworn in for their first terms
