Columbus gains 28 COVID-19 cases since Thursday [free story]

The Columbus County Health Department reported on Monday that the county had gained 28 cases of COVID-19 since Thursday afternoon.

The department confirmed six cases on Monday, four on Sunday, one on Saturday, 15 on Friday and two more cases on Thursday following a report earlier that day.

Columbus County’s total of 1,052 cases includes 50 deaths and at least 828 recoveries.

The health department continues to operate its COVID-19 call center Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The number is 910-640-6615 ext. 7045 and 7046.
