County school board adopts personnel changes

The Columbus County Board of Education passed a slate of personnel changes after closed session deliberation at its Dec. 2 meeting.

Wayne David Barkley, band director/Evergreen Elementary and Tabor City Middle, retires effective Jan. 1, 2020.

The board accepted resignations from Toni Alexandra Byrd, school counselor/Tabor City Elementary; Cristy W. Prince
