Domestic dispute leads to double stabbing

An argument between a man and woman ended with a trip to the hospital and jail for both individuals.

Ike Brown, 60, and Teresa Ann Silah, 47, both of 62 Jack’s Drive, Chadbourn, were both charged with assault with a deadly weapon and held under no bond after the Aug. 8 incident.

The sheriff’s office reported that officers were called to the couple’s residence to a report of a stabbing at 4:38 p.m. Brown and Silah told deputies they were arguing, and both told officers that they were stabbed by the other.

Brown had a wound to his chest, and Silah was cut on her face and back. Brown was treated and released for his injury.
