A Riegelwood youth is recovering from a gunshot wound to the chest, and another sustained a leg wound after a shooting incident Wednesday.

Deputies were called to Acme-Delco-Riegelwood Fire Department around 1:45 p.m.  after Jadakiss Watkins, 17, and Dacious Daquan Dukes, 18, were taken to the station with gunshot wounds.

Watkins was shot in the chest, and Dukes in the leg, according to the sheriff’s office. The teens were sitting outside 1535 Sand Hole Road with Jesse Morgan, 21, when an unknown vehicle drove by and someone opened fire on the three. Morgan was uninjured, and transported the victims to the fire station for treatment. The incident is under investigation.
