Despite flooding, several building projects are underway downtown

Even though the owners of Mann’s are retiring, the variety of renovation projects occurring within a few blocks of their store makes it clear that downtown Whiteville is not closing. Some of the owners have been remodeling their sites since summer while others are just beginning.
