Disaster Recovery Center opens in old elections office

The North Carolina Office of Emergency Management and the Federal Emergency Management Agency announced Monday that a Disaster Recovery Center has been opened in the former board of elections building at 50 Legion Drive in Whiteville to provide residents a place to get answers about disaster assistance.
