Early voting underway; more than 1,000 absentee ballots counted

Even with 1,106 absentee ballots already counted, the 2020 election in Columbus County is just getting started as early voting began today and lasts until Oct. 31. 

On Thursday, voters outside the Columbus County Board of Elections stood in a line that stretched nearly to U.S. 701 as they waited for the polls
