Editorial: County can’t pull back from progress in health rankings

Columbus County held down the worst health ranking in the state for an estimated six years until it started making a climb in 2016.

The county’s ranking has advanced this year to 92nd, but changing behaviors and bad habits that span generations will continue to be an enormous challenge.
