Eight more candidates – a mixture of incumbents and challengers – filed Thursday and Friday to run for municipal office in Nov. 5 municipal elections. The two days of filings represented heightened activity as the filing period, which began at noon on June 5 and continues through noon on June 19, passed the halfway point
