Event Details

The Town of Bolton invites all to the 21st Annual Pine Tree Festival and Parade Saturday, October 5, 2019 on the grounds of the Bolton Senior Center, 15354 Sam Potts Highway, Bolton. The festival commemorates the rich history of the Town of Bolton, International Paper Company and Squires Paper Company and all the many pine trees in the area.

Schedule of events:

Thursday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. – The Pine Tree Festival Community Welcome Service at the Walter’s Chapel AME Zion Church, 15111 Sam Potts Highway. Guest speaker is Maria Lacewell, pastor of Price Cathedral AME Zion Church in Wilmington.

Friday, Oct. 4 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. – The Alderman Roy Mitchell Memorial Dinner (free) at the Bolton Senior/Youth Center, 15354 Sam Potts Highway, Bolton.

Saturday, Oct. 5 at 10 a.m. – 21st Annual Pine Tree Festival and Parade. Parade line-up is at 8:30 a.m. on Cedar Street behind the Bolton United Methodist Church. (Across from Sam’s Pit Stop BP station). Visitors will enjoy food vendors, crafts and clothes vendors, resource, vendors, Kid’s Corner and live entertainment.
