The Columbus Chamber of Commerce and Tourism will host its 82nd Annual Meeting and Mini-Business Expo on Monday, Jan. 28, at Northwood Church in Whiteville.
A social and mini-business expo will open the event at 5:30 p.m. followed by the annual meeting and dinner at 6 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person.
Chamber Chair Joan Ward will highlight the organization’s efforts in 2018 and present the Chamber’s three-year strategic plan. The annual celebration will also include presentations of the Sol B. Mann Community Spirit Award and Duke Energy Honorary Lifetime Award along with the introduction of new chamber board members.
President Jennifer Holcomb said that the Chamber Banquet has become a tradition for bringing people together from all over the county to celebrate the good things that are happening.
During the Mini-Business Expo, Chamber members are invited to showcase their business or organization by hosting and decorating a dining table with items that promote their product lines and to meet potential customers. The $100 cost to host a table includes two reserved seats for dinner. Tables will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
