The Greater Tabor City Chamber of Commerce will present its annual Columbus County fireworks celebration Tuesday, July 3 at South Columbus High School’s athletic field. Gates open at 6 p.m. and entertainment begins at 7 p.m.

Thanks to generous community sponsors, there is no admission charge. It is a fun-filled evening with vendors providing food and beverages sold by The TC Chamber of Commerce, snow cones sold by Old Wesleyan Church youth of Tabor City and popcorn sold by Crossroads Church of Whiteville. No coolers, alcoholic beverages or pets are allowed.

A variety of stage entertainment will be provided and military veterans will be recognized and honored, with fireworks flying at 9:30 p.m. This free patriotic program has been a popular event for the Tabor City area for 30 years.
