Easter egg hunts are scheduled Saturday, April 9 at 10 a.m. at Whiteville Parks & Recreation Center, Williams Township School, Evergreen Elementary School, Riegelwood Community Park, Farmers Union – Elra & Gertrude Spaulding Park and the Tabor City Recreation Complex.

At 11 a.m. at the Chadbourn Depot, Old Dock Community Park, Bolton Community Park, lake Waccamaw – Elizabeth Brinkley Park, Hallsboro – Bogue Community Park and St. James Community Park. All girls and boys up to 12 years old can participate in any one of the Easter egg hunts. The hunts will have three age divisions, 0-3, 4-7 and 8-12. The hunts are sponsored by the Columbus County Parks and Recreation.
