Join the rangers at Lake Waccamaw State Park for the annual 2019 First Hike on Tuesday, January 1 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Meet at the visitor center for this free event.
Join park staff for an easy two miles (approx) hike through our sand ridge ecosystem and learn about some of our possible plans for the area.
Participants can expect a fairly dry terrain and some interpretation of the flora in the area.
With any luck, we may get a view of a carnivorous plant or two!

Participants will meet at the Visitor Center.
