The News Reporter’s 3rd annual Hometown New Year’s Eve celebration sponsored by Columbus Regional Healthcare System is at Vineland Station Tuesday, December 31, 2019, from 8:30 p.m. – 12 a.m. Watch the ball drop in downtown Whiteville at midnight!
The event will offer games and activities for children, a balloon drop with prizes, ball drop at midnight, a DJ and dancing. Admission to Hometown New Year’s Eve is FREE to enjoy the activities, dancing, ball drop, etc.
In addition to the Hometown New Year’s Eve celebration, take part in Taste of Columbus where restaurants from Columbus County will serve tastings of their favorites dishes. Participation in the Taste of Columbus is $15 per adult. Children 12 and under are free. There will be a cash bar available. (The ticket fee for Taste of Columbus helps participating restaurants cover their food costs.)
