Minority Employees of International Paper will host its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration on Monday, Jan. 21. The event will begin with a short march from the Mt. Pleasant AME Zion Church at 10 a.m. and proceed to the Acme-Delco Elementary School gymnasium. An 11 a.m. celebration at the school will feature guest speaker Walter Shaw, a native of the Armour community and head men’s basketball coach at Brunswick Community College. Refreshments and admission are free.
