Did you know that birds are dinosaurs? That’s right! Birds are not just the closest living relatives of dinosaurs, they actually are dinosaurs!
Join us on February 21, 2022 at 4 p.m. to learn more about the birds you see outside when making observations. We will talk about the bird family tree, anatomy of birds and Mesozoic dinosaurs, and the difference of certain types of birds. All ecoEXPLORE participants will receive five bonus points for attending the program.
This program is geared towards ages 5-12 participating in our free citizen science program for kids, ecoEXPLORE, but is open to anyone who is interested in birds and dinosaurs.
