The Museum of  Natural Sciences and the Columbus County Arts Council partnered this summer to bring you “Movies on Madison: Summer Film Series.”  Friday, August 16, the featured movie is Captain Marvel.

In the film, Captain Marvel finds herself caught in the middle of an intergalactic battle between two alien races, the Kree Warriors and the Skrulls. Captain Marvel works to learn the truth about her past and harness her true superpowers while teaming up with Nick Fury to end the war for good.

Dress in your favorite characters’ outfit and bring a chair or blanket. Lawn opens at 7:00 p.m. Movie starts at dusk.

To extend the learning experience, please visit our education table for engaging activities prior to the start of the film.

This free 125-minute film is rated PG-13. This is a free family-friendly event: no pets, coolers, alcohol or smoking permitted. Refreshments will be available for purchases. The museum is located at 415 Madison Street in Whiteville.
