Movies on Madison: Summer Film Series “Coco” Rescheduled for May 25
The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences at Whiteville and the Columbus County Arts Council have partnered to bring you “Movies on Madison: Summer Film Series.” Kicking off the summer series is “Coco,” showing Friday, May 25 at dusk. From Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios, “Coco” takes viewers on an extraordinary journey with an aspiring young musician named Miguel to the magical land of his ancestors. A charming trickster named Hector becomes an unexpected friend who helps Miguel uncover the real story behind his family history. This Academy Award winner for best animated feature and best original song, “Coco” is a charming tale of family, fun and adventure that will warm your heart.
Dress in your favorite character’s costume. Bring a blanket or chair. Museum lawn opens at 6:00 p.m., movie starts at dusk. This free, 109-minute film is rated PG. This is a family-friendly event: no pets, coolers, alcohol or smoking permitted. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Visit our education table before the film.
