‘Extremely proud’ – Coach hails Whiteville Baseball team after state title defeat

A three-run first wasn’t near enough for the Whiteville Wolfpack baseball team Saturday as Randleman took the 2A State Championship with a 12–5 victory to sweep the series 2–0. But for Whiteville, there was little to be sad about after the game at Burlington Athletic Park.
