Four new cases of COVID-19 brings Columbus’ total to 289

The Columbus County Health Department on Friday announced four new cases of COVID-19, bringing the county’s total to 289.

Two of the new cases are connected to congregate living facilities in Columbus County and two of the cases are still under investigation, the health department said in a press release.

The total of 289 cases includes 74 recoveries and 21 deaths.
