Rev. Gordon Lee Griffin, 58, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019 at his home.

The funeral will be held at noon Monday, Dec. 23 at the Ocean View Missionary Baptist Association Center, 7550 Ocean Hwy. West, Sunset Beach, with Rev. David Flowers, pastor of Central Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Viewing will be at the Ocean View Center Monday one hour prior to and following the service. Burial will be in the Flowers Cemetery in Longwood.

Surviving are three daughters, Shamya Lenay Griffin of Burlington, Latoya Johnson of New York and Quiana Alsabry of Hallsboro; one son, Derrick Ganus of Supply; mother, Lucille Masters of Mount Vernon, N.Y.; three sisters, Priscilla Davis of Gastonia, Lisa Flowers and Rose Flowers, both of New York; one brother, Lajuan Jones of Fayetteville; and four grandchildren.
