Superintendent Alan Faulk announced yesterday (Thursday, Aug. 9) reassignments of personnel within the Columbus County Schools as a result of the closing of Chadbourn Middle School. CMS Principal Michael Powell has been assigned principal of Columbus Career and College Academy.
Other assignments include:
Maggie Anderson – PowerSchool data manager at Chadbourn Elementary School/Evergreen Elementary School (Delois McKenzie/Wanda Simmons/Maggie Anderson)
Gwendolyn Best Dixon – exceptional children day treatment teacher at CES (new position)
Shelly Cullipher – part-time media coordinator at CES/assistant principal at EES (Shelly Cullipher/new position)
Delois McKenzie – secretary/bookkeeper at CES (Delois McKenzie/Maggie Anderson position)
Kyle Blackmon to health/PE teacher at EES
Rosa Jordan to middle grades teacher at EES
Harvey LeSane to custodian/bus driver at EES
Jamail Piggott to middle grades teacher at EES
Mark Simmons to middle grades teacher at EES
Khadijah Tart \to middle grade teacher at EES
Marilyn Elliott – middle grades business teacher at Tabor City Middle School/Williams Township School
Princess Grantham – art teacher at Tabor City Elementary School/TCMS/WTS
David Barkley – music teacher at EES/TCMS
