Admission to the 2A Baseball State Championship series MUST be obtained through the gofan app or at gofan.co. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE GATE!! Here is a direct link to the site where tickets for all games played in Burlington may be acquired. Until Friday only the $20 ticket that allows entry to all games played on Friday and Saturday is available. Beginning Friday morning, single day tickets may be purchased online or with the app.
One day admission (Friday $8 or Saturday $12) will be available only on the those days. You will still need to use the gofan app on your phone or use the gofan.co site to purchase a ticket the day of the game.
Typically, the NCHSAA will provide assistance to fans unfamiliar with the NO CASH process at the gate. Having a phone is a must to get a ticket or to show proof of an advance ticket purchase!
If planning a ticket purchase at the gate plan to arrive early to complete the process. A ticket is good for all games played that day. Fans are encourage to use clear handbags to speed up the entry process!
Baseball team’s planned bus route out of town
Whiteville’s baseball team is scheduled to depart Legion Staadium at 1 p.m. Friday afternoon. Just like previous trips to baseball state championships, the team bus will have a police escort that leads it past Whiteville Primary School down Washington St. to Jefferson St. and then past Edgewood Elementary School. The caravan will then catch Madison Street at Soules Swamp and proceed north through downtown. The team will then pass by Central Middle School before returning to Lee Street to pass Whiteville High School.
