Investigation continues in animal neglect case


A starving horse was removed from a St. James home Wednesday, and Animal Control officials could file charges against the owner.
A number of animals were found at the home, including dogs, miniature horses, the starving full-sized horse, and a capuchin monkey, according to Animal Control Director Joey Prince.
