Irma Walker Lovett, 87, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020 atLower Cape Fear LifeCare in Bolivia. Born Oct. 15, 1932, in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Rev. B.R. Walker and Lula Mae Tyree Walker and the widow of Aaron Lovett. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Her funeral service will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inman Ward Funeral Home is serving the family.

She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Gale Lovett Buffkin and husband, Charlie, of Ocean Isle Beach and Donna Lovett Bauer and husband, Drew, of Durham; one son,  Marcus Wayne Lovett and wife, Cathy, of Tabor City; six grandchildren, Amber Renea Howard, Alicia Kay Lovett, Matthew Wayne Lovett, Andrew Todd Bauer Jr., Faith Bauer Moyer and Christian Paul Bauer; and one great-grandson, James Thomas Moore.
