Keith Alvin Jacobs, 61, of the Buckhead community, died Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Duke University Hospital. He was born Aug. 23, 1957 in Bladen County the son of Wilson Jacobs and Retha Sampson of Buckhead.
He was a member of Mt. Sinai Holiness Chuch. He owned and operated S&K Trucking Co.
His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19 at Mt. Sinia Holiness Church with Rev. Michael Jacobs officiating. His family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday, May 18 at Peacock Funeral Home in Whiteville. Burial will be in the Red Hill Cemetery.
He is suvived by his wife, Sheila Patrick Jacobs; three sons, Brent Jacobs and wife, Caisey, Heath Jacobs and Grayanna Freeman, both of Buckhead, Logan Jacobs of the home; three daughters, Summer Jacobs and husband, Zach, of Buckhead, Stormy Jacobs of the home, Alicia Freeman of Durham; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Jacobs; one brother, Stacy Jacobs and wife, Carmelita, of Buckhead; one sister, Bernice Patrick and husband, Rudolph, of Raleigh; and seven grandchildren Rakyah Jacobs, Kirstin Jacobs, Callie Jacobs, Chloe Jacobs, Brody Jacobs, Weston Jacobs, Madilyn Patrick.
