Large number of cats seized in Tabor

Animal control officials are seizing a large number of cats and kittens from a Tabor City home today.


Cats and kittens are overwhelming the Columbus County Animal Shelter today, as workers head back to Tabor City to seize another load of abandoned felines.

“Many of these cats have respiratory infections and other problems,” said shelter manager Joey Prince. The cats are coming from one address, he said
