Put on your dancing shoes and bring the family for a free event Thursday, Sept. 16, at Vineland Station in downtown Whiteville. There will be music by the Pink Slips Band, cornhole boards, food and dancing from 6–9 p.m.
Coming together from all walks of the music industry, The Pink Slips Band plays Carolina beach music, soul, country, rock and more. With crowd involvement, dancing and random shenanigans, the band strives to make each person in the crowd feel like a part of the show. Their stellar brass section and killer guitar solos give a ‘pink slip’ to your everyday mundane routine. Bleachers will be provided, but folks are more than welcome to bring a chair and blanket.
Refreshments available for purchase will be Domino’s Pizza, Sunset Slush and adult beverages with proper identification from Whiteville Rotary Club. Bottled water provided by BEMC will be available while supplies last. No pets (service animals only.)
