Hundreds of people flocked to the Strawberry Festival Parade in Chadbourn. Shown here wheeling down Brown Street are floats sponsored by local businesses, and the Chadbourn Fire Department’s fire engine and ambulance packed with elementary school boys. These entries were following by one of the many high school bands marching that day. This was only a segment of the long parade, which lasted nearly two hours.
