A Look Back at fish fry and Girl Scouts


18 years ago – Dottie Council, left, and Vernon Hall enjoy signing a few tunes at a Fish Fry Halloween celebration held at John McNeill’s pier. The celebration capped off a week of “Fish Fry Fridays” that raised more than $5,000 in 2000, which was divided between the Lake Waccamaw Depot Museum and Rube McCray Memorial Library.
