Many county parents want remote learning


An online survey conducted by Columbus County Schools last week showed that 43 percent of CCS parents who responded would like their children to stay home every day when classes reopen Aug. 17. 

The schools’ website asked parents to “declare whether your student will be in physical school or 100 percent virtual.”
