Restaurants and other establishments in Tabor City could soon sell mixed beverages, based on unofficial elections results.
The measure “to permit the sale of mixed beverages in hotels, restaurants, private clubs, community theaters, and convention centers” passed with 385 votes for and 378 against. However, the numbers don’t include provisional votes. County Elections Director Carla Strickland said the number of provisional ballots would be announced Wednesday morning.
