Motion to stay Greene’s certificate of election denied

A motion to stay certification of Jody Greene’s election as sheriff of Columbus County was denied in Wake County Superior Court Wedneday morning, which means the Columbus County Board of Elections will meet Thursday at 10 a.m. to certify the election.
