N.C. Supreme Court rules sentencing in 2016 Tabor City murder unconstitutional


By a 4–3 party-line decision, the N.C. Supreme Court ruled Friday that consecutive life sentences were unconstitutional for a man who was 15 when he murdered and raped his aunt near Tabor City.
