A second shooting incident on Old Lake Road near Buckhead was reported Monday.

Around 3:15 a.m., someone drove by Barbara Session’s home at 6368 Old Lake Road and fired several shots, the sheriff’s office reported. Sessions and her family were home at the time, but no one was injured, according to reports with the sheriff’s office.

The doublewide mobile home sustained an estimated $5,000 in damages after multiple rounds struck the dwelling.

The home is located almost within sight of the Buckhead Fire Station.
The same home was struck by gunfire Dec. 5 around 3:45 p.m. No one was injured in that incident either, the sheriff’s office said. Damages were estimated at $800 in that case.

It is not known if the shooting is related to damage found at Union Chapel Baptist Church, four miles west of the Sessions’ home. Someone shot out three windows in the church, causing $200 in damages. The incident was reported Monday at 9:15 a.m.

The sheriff’s department is investigating the shootings.
