Crews install flashing red lights at the deadly intersection of N.C. 11 and N.C. 87. DOT has placed a four-way stop configuration at the intersection to decrease the number of high-speed crashes.
A mother and daughter died in a collision with an 18-wheeler recently, prompting the change.
