Annie Pearl Porter Holquinn, 92, died Friday, May 25, 2018 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center in Whiteville. Born May 3, 1926 in Horry County, S.C., she was the daughter of the late George Carson and Johanna Rebecca Hardee Porter and the widow of Raymond G. Holquinn. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter: Ireland “Kellee” Kolleene Holquinn; three brothers: Albert Porter, Vonnie Porter and George Carson Porter; two sisters: Gussie Cartrette and Jimmie Nell Spivey
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23 in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel in Tabor City.
She is survived by three daughters, Carmen Rebecca Watkinson of Wilmington, Frances Denny of Glenolden, Pa. and Anna Maria Galloway of Chadbourn; one sister, Frances White of Ellabell, Ga.; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
