Annie Pearl Stephens McCray, 80, died Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and  LifeCare Center.

Final rites will be held at noon Wednesday, July 19 at Apostolic Greater Truth Outreach Ministry, 108 East Fifth Street with Pastor Crystal Lewis officiating. Viewing will be held from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 18 at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville and Wednesday, July 19 following the service at the church. Burial will be in the Columbus County Singing Union Cemetery.

Surviving are three daughters, Sharon Fonseca of Charlotte, Sheila Whisenant of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Pamela Green of Fort Worth, Texas; three sons, Leon McCray of Boston, Mass., Kenneth McCray and Anthony McCray, both of Tabor City; one sister, Cora Lee Beatty of Bayboro, S.C.; and one brother, Sylvester Stephens of Loris, S.C.
