Barbara Ann Godwin Larrimore

Barbara Ann Godwin Larrimore, 81, wife of George Larrimore, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at her home in the Beaverdam community.
Barbra Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Godwin and Clyde Ophelia Ward Godwin; and her two sons, Ritchie Larrimore and Travis Larrimore.
Barbara Ann worked for Carolina Telephone for over 15 years and later was employed by Columbus Regional Healthcare, serving as a switchboard operator for eight years.
Her funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn with Pastor Buddy Seay officiating. Visitation will be held from 2-2:45 prior to the service. Interment will be in the Mercer Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, George Douglas Larrimore of the home; two sisters, Betty Jo Duncan “Tobie” of Chadbourn and Ila Pearl Shelley of Charleston, S.C.; one grandchild, Kasidi Ann Larrimore of Elizabethtown; and a daughter-in-law, Dona Rich Larrimore of Chadbourn and many nieces and nephews.
