Betty Jane Rouse, 66, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016 at Shoreland Healthcare in Whiteville.
Final rites will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8 at Zion Wall Freewill Baptist Church with Elder Eugene Price officiating. Viewing will be held from noon-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home in Whiteville and Thursday, Sept. 8 one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Belvue Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Tara Rouse of Chadbourn; one son, Jonathan Rouse of Clarkton; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit the family at 350 Bullard Road.
