Betty Jane Sibbitt Eller, 79, passed away Saturday March 3, 2018. She was born in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Monroe Sibbitt and Bertie Sibbitt. We rejoice knowing that she will be reunited with her husband, Jerry O’Neil Eller who passed away in October of 2009.
Loved ones whom have gone before her are her father, Monroe Sibbitt; mother, Bertie Edwards Sibbitt; and two brothers, Jerry Sibbitt and Edgar “Peanut” Sibbitt.
Betty was a member of the Odell Baptist Church, loved sewing, cooking and crafts.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2018 followed by Rev. Gene Beaver officiating the service at 12:30 p.m. at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove. A committal will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 9 at Salisbury National Cemetery.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Johnny Eller (Debby), Larry Eller, Donnie Eller, Terry Eller (Deborah), Davis Eller; one sister, Deborah Rodgers; five grandchildren, Jessica Elmore (Joe), Dustin O’Neal Eller (Amber), Harley Eller, Justin Eller (Courtney) and Stephen Eller (Kaylee); and eight great-grandchildren, Paxton Eller, Paisley Eller, Dawson Eller, Addison Eller, Faith Elmore, Shelby Elmore, Caroline Eller, and Clara Elmore.
