Beulah Ivey Hayes, 95, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016 at Liberty Common’s Nursing and Rehab Center in Whiteville. She was born September 5, 1921 in Dillon County, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Craig Hayes Sr.
She was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church in Fairmont.
Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25. Final rites will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23 in the chapel of Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont with Rev. Jackie Spillers and Dr. Glen Stanley officiating. Burial will be in Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont.
She is survived by one son, Craig Hayes of Lumberton; one daughter, Juanita Meares of Fair Bluff; one sister, Dixie Wilkins of Wilmington; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
