Billy R. Creech, 78, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016. He was born Sept. 6, 1937 to the late Willie and Addie Eason Creech.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Creech; his parents; and a sister, Betty Martin.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 24 at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 25 at Flynn Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Spivey officiating.
Mr. Creech is survived by two sons, Richard Creech and wife, Donna, of Clayton, Wayne Creech and wife, Janis, of Whiteville; four daughters, Jane Starnes and husband, Richard, Elaine Jones and husband, Roger and Marie Boswell and husband, Carlton, all of Clarkton and Cynthia Horne and husband, Eddie, of Whiteville; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, Tenn. 38148.
